Per discussion 2013-08-23 with Bob Cook, this MN depends on getting some issues resolved (particularly mutable science metadata) in mercury stack member nodes.

Add LP DAAC: lpdaac.usgs.gov and FLUXNET Sites: fluxnet.ornl.gov to the list in previous comment.
As there are limited resources available, ORNL will look at this list of potential MNs and determine which one(s) will be addressed first.
