This 1.2.4 release will include features in Metacat (performance, CN API fixes), d1_cn_buildout (PostgreSQL tuning), d1_cn_service d1_rest_service (CN read-only mode), and d1_mercury (UI fixes). This ticket is used to document the CCI 1.2.4 feature rollout.
Changes to the Metacat component include log aggregation performance fixes, which are coupled with PostgreSQL performance tuning in d1_cn_buildout (#4106). Likewise, incorrect authentication behavior is fixed when calling CN APIs (https://projects.ecoinformatics.org/ecoinfo/issues/6183) , and calls to MN.replicate() that encounter SSL errors and cause replica requests to remain in the 'requested' state are fixed (#4178).
