Need a virtual machine running under KVM which we can use to build the combined Metacat/Mercury software stack and get the systems configured together. Set up base OS, plus add in ldap account access.
Jones will request from Brand.

Initial KVM instance was created by Brand and handed over to jones. See task #141 for details of the configuration and installations tbd on that VM.
