We took a stab at the document and you can find our answers: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AA67AVY1JxcajJ38wTlsNKqOoiqhD4Qm7bCfsBevLog/edit?ts=5ab15c4b One of the things we were curious about was how DataONE wants to display Figshare on the DataONE site. Do we want it to be branded as The Cary Institute? Or simply Figshare?
That may impact how we respond to some of the questions above (we responded assuming it would be Figshare). We can also tackle this down the road as we chat with some of our Figshare for Institutions partners and see how/if they prioritize exposing their curated research on the DataONE network.

Since the MN will now be displayed as Cary Institute, there will be a couple of other items to address as we move forward. Nothing we need in hand immediately, but for your consideration
• a short MN description that will be displayed on the search.dataone.org search results page
• social media handles for Cary Institute
• the emphasis of Cary Institute vs Figshare in the press release announcement

In this case it seemed easier to highlight that this research is from Cary Institute, but do let me know if you feel it should be via Figshare instead. If so, we're happy to go that route. Our thought was that this way, in case we do end up performing curation down the road, we could also start to pull in figshare.com content, which we would brand as figshare.com. In the meanwhile, though, this will be solely Cary research.
In the meantime, I have reached out to Cary Institute about the short MN description and social media handle preferences. I haven't heard back quite yet, but I will certainly let you know when I do.
