Description
The Pangaea repository uses a variant of the ISO TC211 schema that is for the most part the same as the http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd-noaa format except for the reference to gml. The schema referenced by Pangaea is valid and in wide use (albeit by a single node so far), so is being supported as a new METADATA object format "http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd-pangaea"
The goal of this story is to ensure complete support of the object format including synchronization, indexing, and rendering.
