Technically, the EDI MN is ready to announce. The GMN is receiving content from PASTA via the adapter, obsolescence chains are being observed, data is discoverable via the DataONE search UI. The EDI news item needs to be vetted by EDI leadership.
Next steps:
approval from EDI leadership for news item
update node registration document to show CN_operational_status = operational and set the date accordingly
verify EDI is displayed as "current" on the MN dashboard
