From #3423:

As reported by John Kunze on 20121214 LT call. There was discussion during the recent CNI meeting that Fedora will start a new SW rev. effort next year. It may be an opportunity to embed the MN SW stack in the new Fedora version.

#3 Updated by Bruce Wilson about 10 years ago

  • Tracker changed from Story to Feature
  • Subject changed from Fedora Commons MN Story to MN Stack supporting Fedora Commons

Based on discussions 2014-10-02 at AHM, particularly involving Trisha, Stephanie Wright, (UWash), Amy Hodge (Stanford), Lynn Baird (Idaho), and Rebecca, there is a clear move away from DSpace to Fedora Commons, particularly for institutional repositories working with data. Dryad is also considering a move from DSpace to Fedora Commons.
