Infrastructure

We want to ensure that updates are consistent across the three coordinating node sites. The concept is that we can use puppet to ensure that specific operating system updates, layered product updates, and DataONE product updates. These can be pushed first to dev, then to stage, then to production. This can help drive the schedule for what goes out when and ensure improved consistency for the operation of the nodes. The objective for this work is to develop an outline and steps for how this would be implemented, review this with the development team staff, refine as necessary, and then come out with an implementation plan.
