from Debian Policy Manual: "The postinst script may be called in the following ways:
postinst configure most-recently-configured-version"

for configuration the version number past in will be either the previous version number, or the current version #. So, the logic should execute for pre migration ldap if the version number passed in is less that the expected update version (1.2.0) while the postinst script should follow the 'reconfigure' logic based on this upgrade if the version being upgraded is 1.2.0 or if it is just reconfigured as 1.2.0.
