The integration test:

requests 42 replicas of test objects which is excessive and causes unnecessary churning of MNs and CNs in the test environments. The change was implemented @15827 and it is not clear why the number 42 was chosen.

This value should be settable via a configuration file and set to a sensible value (e.g. <= the number of replication targets in an environment).
