Description
Increasing demand on the search index is resulting in reduced performance of the Solr index for the web interface at search.dataone.org
Investigate, document, and deploy a load balancing solution that leverages the mirrored solr instances already in place and if necessary deploy more instances.
Relevant tools include mod_proxy_balancer and solr cloud.
