Description

the / directory redirects to the jenkins server, and so /ubuntu-dev etc, are not reachable.

jenkins-1 uses a reverse proxy to manage the conflict.

If jenkins is installed the same way on both servers this should work...

History

#1 Updated by Rob Nahf over 7 years ago

worked on trying to get jenkins-ucsb-1 to be configured like jenkins-1. To that end, I :

moved the jenkins endpoint to /jenkins in /etc/default/jenkins (added --prefix=$PREFIX) to JENKINS_ARGS

copied site-enabled 000-default.conf from jenkins-1 to jenkins-ucsb-1, commenting out first vertual host (the # at the beginning of the lines, not tabbed in)

disabled certain sites: 001-maven.conf, maven-ssl.conf, default-ssl.conf

disabling the ssl module broke things, so restored.

Jenkins still works via the https://jenking-ucsb-1.dataone.org/jenkins,
and ubuntu-unstable now are found, but the browser says that the server can't provide a secure connection.

sigh
