Description

CLOEBIRD administrative contact needs to be informed that the MemberNode is non-responsive to REST request calls. After the MemberNode has bee brought back to life, then evaluate log aggregation responses.

Email from Steve Kelling at eBird 2/2/16:

"We had a disk failure on the machine that ran the eBird MN. Additionally, Kevin Webb, the individual who managed all of this has retired. Right now our plates are really full, and I don't expect that we will be able to get to this any time soon.

"What we have done for other data aggregators who disseminate the eBird basic dataset is to provide annually a copy of the dataset (in EML) and they load them onto their platforms. Until we get the time to update the D1 infrastructure we can make this available to you. GBIF, VertNET, BISON, and other platforms get eBird data this way."

The eBird MN is status=down until further notice.
