Description
Deploy the version2.0 updates to the sandbox CNs.
It is not critical that the environment remains accessible during the update, through the procedure for retaining readonly service availability should be followed to determine if any adjustments to the procedure are required.
- Switch to readonly mode, ORC primary
- Isolate ORC using firewall
- Install solr and zookeeper on all three CNs, enable zookeeper communications to all three CNs
- Update object format list to version 2 on unm and ucsb
- Full CN upgrade on UNM and UCSB
- Start indexing on UCSB
- When indexing is complete, switch primary to UCSB
- Upgrade ORC
- Reenable firewall rules between the three CNs
- Remove old solr from CNs
