Description
The role of the connector is to ensure the GMN representation of content remains up to date with the content exposed by the NODC repository.
The tool will issue create() calls on the MN with sufficient information to create proxy objects for content held by the NODC repository. This will include resource maps, science metadata and data objects.
The tool should be able to evaluate content already added to the MN and only create new entries where necessary.
The tool should be able to determine if an entry is obsoleting an existing entry, and update as appropriate.
