Description

As the Metacat product manager, I want to implement support for arbitrary identifiers in Metacat in order to be compatible with the DataONE identifier

  • involves creating an additional mapping table to store GUID and LocalID mapping
  • involves creating amethod to generate a LocalID when a request comes in using a GUID
  • involves refactoring handler methods to allow CRUD operations to support GUIDs
