Looks like the SANParks MN time is off by about 30 minutes. e.g.:

dataknp.sanparks.org can't seem to communicate with NTP servers -- their service provider should help correct this.

I've set the time manually as a stop-gap measure.

added the google 8.8... nameserver and updated the time from ubuntu ntp server.
