Bug #2461
Create events not being reported on demo2
100%
Description
Adding a science metadata document to demo2 then subsequently checking getLogRecords shows read but not create events being logged.
Other create events appear in the log however (apparently from tests). Perhaps it's something related to data vs metadata?
e.g.:
curl -k "https://demo2.test.dataone.org/knb/d1/mn/v1/log?start=1590&count=10000" | xml sel -N "d=http://ns.dataone.org/service/types/v1" -t -m "//d:log" -o "Total : " -v "@total" -n -t -m "//logEntry" -v "entryId" -o " " -v "ipAddress" -o " " -v "event" -o " " -v "identifier" -n

or simply:

the "create" events are being logged as "insert" by Metacat. During log retrieval we now treat these as "create" (Event.CREATE in the DataONE types)
