Description
Currently, the settings_site.NODE_IDENTIFIER must be set to match the value in in the Node XML doc. It would be better to read it from the XML doc.

The Node document is now automatically generated based on the GMN settings, so all the values, such as NODE_IDENTIFIER are only set in one location.
