Description
It is not part of the DataONE spec for Member Nodes, but having an overview page that reports to administrators the overall status of the node will be quite helpful.
Develop a page that reports basic information about the status of the node:
- version of software being run
- Number of objects held by the system (- Perhaps a breakdown of number of object by type)
- Number of connectons over the last hour (or some useful time period)
- Number of unique subjects that have added content to the node
- Total storage space consumed by the MN
- Total storage space remaining on the mN
- Other basic stats that amy be useful to an administrator of the node.
The page(s) should be developed using the built in template system of Django and should be html 5 compliant.
